Take my advice: Do not take your boat here! This was the worst experience I have ever had with any type of mechanic.

I stored my boat at this location this past winter, and had them winterize it and do basic maintenance. I ended up being charged $1500 just for the maintenance and my boat broke down the fifth time that I had it in the water. The problem: Liberty Marine did not bother to tighten the hose clamps for the water intake, and as a result, water was spraying all over the engine, and had gotten into the engine through the flame arrestor over the carb. I had to get towed back in at a cost of $180. To make it worse, Steve (the owner), did not exactly jump in to make things right. When I complained, he had one of his buddies come and take a look at it (the guy owed him a favor). Although this mechanic did eventually get the boat started, I ended up having to replace the spark plugs, distributor cap and wires just to get the engine running smoothly again (I did this myself; very simple task).

In addition to the sloppy work described above, when I picked up my boat from Liberty Marine, it was covered in construction dust, and they had broken one of the poles from the bimini top and not bothered telling me (although they did send me a new one when I complained).

I spend almost $2500 with Liberty Marine between maintenance and storage, and what I got in return was sloppy work and crappy customer service. I will never go back there again for any reason.
